Jochen Berbner is the Location Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company in Kazakhstan.

Jochen serves clients across many sectors important to the Kazakhstani economy – Public Sector, Finance, Metals & Mining and Power including Oil & Gas. Within McKinsey Jochen is a member of the leadership team of the global Metals&Mining Sector and Operations Practice

Before moving to Kazakhstan, Jochen worked in Russia, Central Europe and Germany. 

Jochen is a passionate triathlete since his university times finishing many triathlons across Olympic, half-ironman and ironman distance. In 2001 he won the German Championship with his senior team. Recently, in 2018, he finished Astana and Copenhagen Ironman competitions.
